 Italian Renaissance  The Italian Renaissance started in the year of 1400 it was the word renaissance which means rebirth with makes sense since it was almost like the rebirth of the arts this time period was very impactful to the way that we see now and days and introduce us to many great artist like Leonardo da Vinci and Michelangelo and Raphael and Donatello. The Renaissance was mostly center around Italy and most art pieces were inspired by Christianity like this one. About Jesus last supper with his disciples it is called the Last Supper it was made by Leonardo Da Vinci During the Renaissance era the first printing press was invented this printing press help a lot with getting information fast as well and advancement in literature by being able to print more books. The Americas/ China and India

  The Americas/ China and India One of the well known Chinese architecture is the the Great Wall of China that was built to go for about 5500-13,000 miles long that included watch towers form what history tell us that when the people that were building the wall died that their bodies where put inside during the making of the wall it was built in the early 7th century BC during the reign of the emperor Qin Shi Huang  in order to protect his empire and the wall kept being added on until the Ming era.   Gothic One of my favorite works of Gothic architecture is Notre Dame, which is located in Paris; it was built in 1163. This building is well known since it was featured in The movie The Hunchback of Notre Dame. the Cathedral of Notre Dame  It primarily centered in Paris during the Gothic period, and most churches were made of Gothic style. The Gothic style came to form the Romanesque style of the introduction of the pointed Arch, Ribbed Vaulr and Fly buttress This is the design arch known as the Fly buttress In Gothic churches, you can see in the interior Stained glass windows that can have, at times, images of an Apostle or a saint as a way to showcase their faith and religion you can also find that most cathedrals have either a Rib vault or a Groin vault in the architecture design. this is the St. Denis Cathedral in France. Romanesque/Islamic

  Romanesque/Islamic One of the most famous works of Islamic architecture is the great mosque of Kairouan, which was built between 820 and 836 C.E. The idea for the mosque came from Mohammad's farm, which was considered a prototype design that helped create the mosque of Kairouan.  This is the Great Mosque of Kairouan  Charlemagne, aka Charles the Great, ruled from 800 AD to 800 AD. During his reign, he cared a lot about education, such as the arts and literature; he built many schools and monasteries, and he encouraged building using the techniques of Roman structures.
